The rest of the day is free to explore at your leisure. At first glance, Frankfurt impresses visitors with its modern skyscrapers; a close-up look also reveals a charming and pleasant city. Accommodation at the Hotel Mövenpick Frankfurt City****. Day 2 / Wednesday Frankfurt - Rüdesheim - St. Goar - Cologne In the morning you travel to Rüdesheim. Sightseeing tour of the historic city center. Boarding the boat. Today’s cruise follows the most picturesque stretch of the Rhine, the Lorelei valley. After disembarking in St. Goar you continue to Cologne. Accommodation at the Hotel Maritim****. Day 3 / Thursday Cologne - Hamburg After breakfast we depart for Hamburg. Upon arrival you enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city on the Elbe River. Hamburg is known for its elegant historic boulevards, impressive port (the second largest in Europe) and famous St. Pauli neighborhood. Accommodation at the Hotel Novotel Alster****. Day 4 / Friday Hamburg - Berlin In the morning you have time to relax or explore the city. In the afternoon you travel to Berlin. Accommodation at the Hotel NH Friedrichstrasse****. Day 5 / Saturday Berlin In the morning you visit Berlin’s many well-known historic locations, like Under den Linden avenue, the State Opera and the Brandenburg Gate. There will also be time to explore the modern parts of the city, such as the German Parliament and Potsdam Square. The afternoon is free to explore at your leisure. Accommodation at the Hotel NH Friedrichstrasse****. Day 6 / Sunday Berlin - Potsdam - Berlin - Frankfurt After breakfast we travel to Potsdam. The city is set on a natural island, surrounded by tributaries and channels of the Havel River. Visit the Sanssouci palace and park. With more than 300 hectares, this lovely park features hundreds of species of plants and trees. In the afternoon you return to Frankfurt by train.  During holidays, conferences and special events, accomodation may only be available outside the city. Excursions and tours are usually not affected by these events.
