Savoring Germany

Explore Germany at a more leisurely pace. Instead of travelling from hotel to hotel and city to city, you spend at least two nights in each city and have more time to explore at your own pace. The tour includes cities with an amazing cultural heritage and history, like Berlin, Dresden and Munich. Extend the tour with a stay at a spa resort.

TRAVELOGUE

Day 1 (Frankfurt -) Berlin
Arrival in Berlin or Frankfurt. If you arrive in Frankfurt, you´ll take a train to Berlin (surcharge). Transfer to your hotel.The rest of the day is free to relax or explore the city at your own pace.

Day 2 Berlin
After breakfast you enjoy a sightseeing tour of Berlin, with highlights such as the Brandenburg Gate, the Opera, the former Berlin Wall, the German Parliament and Potsdam square. In the afternoon you have time to explore one of Berlin’s many outstanding museums.

Day 3 Berlin - Potsdam - Berlin
Today we visit Potsdam and Sanssouci palace. Return to Berlin. The afternoon is free.

Day 4 Berlin - Dresden
Today we travel to Dresden and enjoy a city tour. Dresden is one 38 of Germany’s main tourist destinations with a beautiful setting on the Elbe river and a rich architectural and artistic heritage.

Day 5 Dresden - Meißen - Dresden
Excursion to Meißen, famous for its porcelain and the Albrechtsburg castle. Return to Dresden.

Day 6 Dresden - Nuremberg
This morning we travel to Nuremberg. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of this modern city with half a million inhabitants that still preserves a medieval city center. The gothic churches, the romantic houses and pleasant squares create an unforgettable atmosphere.

Day 7 Nuremberg - Bamberg - Nuremberg
Sightseeing tour of Bamberg. Bamberg features 2300 historic buildings that range from Romanesque to baroque. Return to Nuremberg.

Day 8 Nuremberg - Munich
Today we travel to Munich, the capital of Bavaria. Visit the Frauenkirche, Marienplatz and the elegant shopping boulevard Maximilianstrasse. Enjoy a typical Bavarian dinner with folk music in a local restaurant.

Day 9 Munich - Neuschwanstein - Munich
Today we make an excursion to visit Neuschwanstein Castle, built by Ludwig II, also known as the “mad king”. Return to Munich.

Day 10: Munich (-Frankfurt)
Transfer to the airport or the train station. If you leave from Frankfurt, you´ll take the train to Frankfurt airport (surcharge).

If you would like to modifiy the program or include other cities we can adjust the itinerary according to your interests.

During holidays, conferences and special events, accomodation may only be available outside the city.
