5 DAY CRUISE - FROM/TO FRANKFURT
Romantic Rhine Cruise TRAVELOGUE Day 1 Frankfurt - Strasbourg Travel by train from Frankfurt to Strasbourg. Transfer to the port and board the boat in Strasbourg at 6 p.m. Check-in and introduction of the crew. Welcome reception. Optional tour of historic Strasbourg by boat (subject to minimum number of participants). Cruise departs after tour. Day 2 Strasbourg- Koblenz We sail towards Lauterburg, Speyer or Mainz. We pass through Rüdesheim on the way to Koblenz. Arrival in Koblenz around 6 p.m. City tour accompanied by a crew member. Free night to spend at your leisure. Overnight mooring in Koblenz. Day 3 Koblenz - Romantic Rhine valley - Rüdesheim Today we sail along one of the most beautiful stretches of the Romantic Rhine route between Koblenz and Rüdesheim. Enjoy the views of stunning castles and idyllic vineyards. Arrival in Rüdesheim. Free time or book an optional excursion by train to one of the local vineyards for a wine tasting. Day 4 Rüdesheim - Speyer or Mannheim - Strasbourg In the morning we sail along the Rhine to Speyer. Along the way we pass through Wiesbaden, Nierstein, Worms and Mannheim. Optional excursion to Heidelberg. Return to the boat in Speyer or Mannheim. Onboard gala dinner and dance. Overnight sailing to Strasbourg. Day 5 Strasbourg - Frankfurt Arrival in Strasbourg around 9 a.m. Disembarkation and transfer to the train station. Travel by train to Frankfurt.  Valid passport mandatory. Staff and passengers on board come from France and other European countries. Depending on the number of other English speaking passengers on board there may be an English-speaking guide available on board and for excursions.
