7 DAYS – FROM MUNICH TO BERLIN
The Best of Eastern Europe  The most fascinating and interesting cities of eastern Europe in one tour. Salzburg, with its magnificent landscape surrounded by lakes and Alps; Vienna, a city that oozes opulence and imperial elegance; Bratislava, the meeting point of cultural infl uences from Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic; Prague, the medieval City of Gold; Dresden, beautifully rebuilt after its destruction in the Second World War; and fi nally Berlin, the new cultural heart of Europe.TRAVELOGUE Day 1 Munich - Salzburg Arrival in Munich and departure for Salzburg. Along the way we stop at the famous Chiemsee lake to visit Herrenchiemsee castle. Visit the island of the “Mad King“ by boat. Arrival in Salzburg. Day 2 Salzburg - Vienna Visit the town of brilliant composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Beautifully located on the Salzach river, Salzburg is surrounded by impressive mountains. Continue to Vienna. Free time to explore the city and its nightlife. Day 3 Vienna Sightseeing tour of the city: stroll along the “Ringstrasse” and discover impressive landmarks such as the Opera, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Natural History, the Maria Teresa Monument, the Parliament building, the City Hall, the National Theatre and the Hofburg imperial palace. In the afternoon you have time to go shopping. Day 4 Vienna - Bratislava - Prague In the morning we travel to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Bratislava‘s bucolic setting amidst vineyards and historic castles on the shores of the Danube River is like a trip back in time. Then we continue to Prague, the City of Gold Day 5 Prague Walking tour of the city. Starting at the Powder Tower we walk to the Old Town Square where we find the City Hall with its astronomical clock and the impressive Gothic Tyn church and Baroque St. Nicolas church. We will also visit Karlova Street, the Charles Bridge and Prague castle. The afternoon is free to explore at your leisure. Day 6 Prague - Dresden After breakfast we depart for Dresden, one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. Located on the Elbe River, Dresden is also known as the Florence of the Elbe. Day 7 Dresden - Berlin After breakfast we enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city, famous for its Frauenkirche church. Travel to Berlin. The program ends around 4 p.m. in downtown Berlin or at the airport.  If you would like to modifi y the program or include other cities we can adjust the itinerary according to your interests.
