From Amsterdam to Strasbourg

TRAVELOGUE

Day 1 Amsterdam
Transfer to the port of Amsterdam to board the ship at 1 p.m. Onboard lunch, followed by a walking tour of Dam square in the company of a crew member. Return to the ship. Welcome reception and introduction of the crew. Onboard dinner. Optional evening canal cruise.

Day 2 Amsterdam
Optional guided tour of Amsterdam. In the afternoon, optional visit to Holland’s largest outdoor flower exhibit, the Keukenhof (only from March 15-May 15; on other dates optional excursion to the fishing village of Volendam or to Zaanse Schans). Dinner onboard. Overnight mooring in Amsterdam.

Day 3 Amsterdam - Nijmegen - Krefeld
Early morning sailing for Nijmegen. Breakfast onboard. Free time for an optional excursion to the Kröller-Muller Museum (except Mondays; optional excursion to open-air museum). The cruise continues to Krefeld. Along the way we sail through the cities of Wesel and Duisburg. Overnight mooring in Krefeld.

Day 4 Krefeld - Cologne - Königswinter
We sail through the city of Dusseldorf and the medieval town of Zons. Arrival in Cologne around 3 p.m. where we will moor for two hours. Free time for a walk through the historic city centre in the company of a crew member. At 6 p.m. we continue our cruise, sailing through Bonn, a historic university town, before arriving in Königswinter. Free evening. Overnight mooring in Königswinter.

Day 5 Königswinter - Rüdesheim
We sail along one of the most beautiful stretches of the Rhine, passing through the city of Koblenz. Enjoy magnificent views of historic castles, vineyards and the legendary Lorelei Rock. Arrival in Rüdesheim. Free time for an optional excursion to the museum of mechanical music or a train ride. In the evening free time. Take a stroll along the famous Drosselgasse boulevard, packed with bars and live music. Overnight mooring in Rüdesheim.

Day 6 Rüdesheim - Speyer or Mannheim - Strasbourg
Early morning departure as we sail along the Rhine to Speyer, passing through Wiesbaden, Nierstein, Worms and Mannheim. Optional excursion to Heidelberg. Return to the boat by late afternoon. Onboard gala dinner and dance. Overnight sailing to Strasbourg.

Day 7 Strasbourg - Frankfurt
Arrival in Strasbourg around 9 a.m. Disembarkation and transfer to your hotel or train station.
